The Space
For the entire time we've lived in DC, our family has dreamed of having a guest house where we could host friends, family, and others here on Capitol Hill. We've finally made that dream a reality, by demolishing our 3-car garage and building a big, beautiful 2-level carriage house in its place. We worked hard to design and craft a space that would invite and welcome guests from all over the world to this wonderful city. It's a great launching pad for your travels and adventures here!
Guest Access
Don't settle for a basement apartment on Capitol Hill - this is a house of your very own! Other than a small one-car garage on the first level, the whole building is yours, with a private entrance that allows you to come and go as you please. A rotating key code, security system, and exterior security cameras keep you and your belongings secure during your trip to DC as well. Please be advised that you will need to walk through an alley to find the entrance to the carriage house that is actually behind our home (see photos) but not to worry - we haven't had any issues or cause for concern and it is quite safe to walk through at any time of day as it remains illuminated by street lights at night.
The Neighborhood

The H Street corridor has a long and storied history in Washington, DC. First built in 1849, it became one of the city's busiest commercial hubs in the mid-20th century, then saw its fortunes decline after the riots of 1968. Since 2000, the area has been the scene of a remarkable revitalization that has attracted many of DC's young professionals and families to make their homes here. Today, H Street features a vibrant nightlife, some of the city's best restaurants, and the family friendliness of Capitol Hill, DC's largest residential neighborhood - all just blocks from the US Capitol, monuments, and the heart of the city. We love living here, and we're sure you'll love visiting!
