This home is a lovely, restored townhouse with historic charm and modern amenities. It features two bedrooms, one large bathroom, one half-bath, a fully equipped kitchen, private outdoor space, and plenty of room to comfortably spread out in the living and dining areas.
The living room, half-bath, kitchen and dining area are all on the main floor. The kitchen has a 3-door French refrigerator with ice-maker, dishwasher, large porcelain farm sink, gas oven, Keurig coffee maker, under-counter drawer microwave in addition to many small appliances and tools. The kitchen also boasts a large island perfect for all your in-home meal preparations!
The dining area is open to the kitchen, where you'll dine comfortably in the oversized dining chairs at the round table with seating enough for your entire group of four.
The living room is warm and inviting with silk drapes, original artwork, and plenty of room for all to gather, drink, play board games or simply sit & relax on the velvet couch around the home's brick fireplace with original wood mantel that was built in 1860.
Upstairs you will find the two bedrooms, and full-size bathroom with his and her sinks, heated tile flooring, hairdryer, curling iron, a walk-in shower as well as the washer and dryer. The Master bedroom sleeps two very comfortably in a Queen-size bed. This room offers plenty of closet and drawer space with its full-wall built-in armoire. There is a smart TV in this room where you can stream your favorites on Netflix, Hulu, or the like. The lovely second bedroom is styled with french doors and offers a full-size bed to accommodate up to two more guests. This room has a desk and cozy chair for catching up on your work emails while in town or simply surfing the web with the free Wi-fi to read up on your next local destination! The Neighborhood
Founded in 1749, Old Town Alexandria is Older than the United States, and was founded by Scottish and English settlers. Its streets, waterfront and stately homes are absolutely beautiful. Many are also a bit famous! We have one of America's oldest continuously running farmers Markets in front of city hall just a few blocks away, and gobs of historical sights from early colonial days, the American Revolution, and the Civil War. There's always something to do, see, and of course eat in Old Town!
Getting Around
Only 15-minutes walk to either The King Street Metro or Braddock Rd metro stations
2 blocks from historic King Street and the FREE Trolley that will take you down to the waterfront or back to the King Street Metro.
Uber and Lyft as well as numerous electric scooter companies operate throughout the area that allow you to rent them easily using their app on your smartphones.
There are also several Capitol Bikeshare stations within a 5-minute walk of our home.
Additionally, guests are also welcome to use the bicycle that you'll find in the home, along with helmet - safety first!

We strongly suggest to only have kids aged 9 and above staying with you. Thank you for understanding.
