These private vacation apartments are uniquely housed on the remodeled 6th floor of the historic Gaslight Club building. You'll have the entire 6th floor to yourselves, where this rental is for both separate units together on the floor. Enjoy your DC vacation or business stay without the cramped feel of a hotel room in these spaces which combine charm and history with modern conveniences that make your stay extra special.
The apartments offer plenty of privacy, but still shared in the same level. So, sit back, relax, and watch the big game or your favorite movie on the wall-mounted SmartTV, surf the web on your iPad or laptop with the free high-speed wireless internet service, or join your next Zoom meeting without any possible disruption.
Feeling hungry If you feel like staying in instead of heading out to one of the nearby restaurants, you’ll find everything you need in the updated kitchen. The kitchen features stainless appliances, all your kitchen utensils, and a dishwasher to make clean up a breeze. You can cook your favorite meals or enjoy a quick breakfast using the cookware, place settings, utensils, and other kitchen supplies available for your use.
This is a combo unit that has 1 bedroom for the first unit and 2 bedrooms for the second one. All bedrooms enhanced with memory foam mattresses, providing a comfortable sleeping area for 7 guests. Microfiber sheets and comforters are on all beds for a cozy, warm night of rest. A wide-seater sofa is available that can comfortably accommodate 1 additional guest in the common area. The first unit has a private bathroom with a shower and the second one has 2 bathrooms that our cleaners keep impeccably clean. The bathrooms are fully stocked with the essentials you'll need to feel right at home.
Each room is tastefully and comfortably appointed, providing you with the ideal space for relaxation during your vacation or business travel.
Guest Access
Guests will have exclusive access to two private 6th-floor apartments (total of 3-bedrooms) in this building, where the rental is comprised of two units that occupy the entire 6th-floor of the building.
The Neighborhood
Set in Penn Quarter, the apartment is only a couple blocks from popular DC sites such as the Washington Monument and the White House. Walk a bit farther and enjoy the sights and sounds of Downtown, Gallery-Place Chinatown, and the National Mall.
Getting Around
The McPherson square metro station is a short 5-minute walk away, with nearby metro bus stops as well. Never short of a taxi passing by. car2go also available, download the app for cars nearby!
Other Things to note
We want you to relax and enjoy your stay, and please treat the home with the same respect you would treat your own.
This is a multi-unit building, so please be mindful of the neighbors. Please avoid loud noises, including high-volume TV, music, and shouting. No smoking is allowed in the unit. Parties and other events are prohibited at the home.
Paper products such as paper towels and toilet paper will be refreshed and provided to you prior to your arrival, but you will be responsible for replenishing should you run out during your stay and need more.
Please ensure that only toilet paper is flushed down the toilet. Dispose of baby wipes, paper towels, condoms, and feminine products in the provided trash receptacles. Also, please prevent excessive amounts of hair from going down the drain. We want all of our guests to be able to enjoy the home.
Before departure, please wash all dishes (the kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher). We want to keep the home in great condition to provide all guests with an unforgettable stay.
