The home is located in the northern end of Petworth, one of the best neighborhoods in the city, with easy access to a number of shops and great eats, along with some lively nightlife nearby and a communal atmosphere. U st., 14th st., Rock Creek Park and other top DC destinations are only a short walk or reasonably priced cab or Uber ride away, or via the METRO which is within walking distance (Fort Totten station on the Red Line, Green, & Yellow Lines).

Getting Around

Walter E. Washington Convention Center is 3.8 miles from our home. This is a 13-minute Uber Lyft ride or 31 minutes using the 70 Metrobus.

To use the bus, you'll need to walk for 6 minutes to the bus station at the corner of Georgia Avenue and Ingraham Street for a 25-minute bus ride (the bus comes in 15-minute intervals) For bus options, the 70, 79, 62 and 63 South to Archives Bus runs through and around the neighborhood

The METRO subway stations nearby are Georgia Ave-Petworth Station (Green Yellow Line) and Fort Totten Station (Red Green Line)

Georgia Ave-Petworth Station is 1.3 miles from our home. This is a 6-minute Uber Lyft ride, a 24-minute walk or 11 minutes using the 70 Metrobus. To use the bus, you'll need to walk for 6 minutes to the bus station at the corner of Georgia Avenue and Ingraham Street for a 5-minute bus ride (the bus comes in 15-minute intervals)

Fort Totten Station is 1.2 miles from our home. This is a 6-minute Uber Lyft ride, a 24-minute walk or 15 minutes using the E4 Metrobus. To use the bus, you'll need to walk for 4 minutes to the bus station at the corner of Kennedy Street and 7 Street for an 11-minute bus ride (the bus comes in 15-minute intervals)
