Queens English is a must try with an award winning wine offering. For top-notch tacos and marvelous margaritas, El Chucho is the best deal in D.C., and their elote just might be some of the best on the East Coast. Columbia Heights’ bars are as diverse and abundant as its people, ranging from charming dives to swanky, intimate cocktail spots. New to the area but want to feel like a lifelong resident Try Left Door, a speakeasy-style “secret” spot that is sure to wow visitors.

Columbia Heights METRO subway station on the GREEN and YELLOW lines is a 10-minute walk
62 63 64 H8 bus stop is a few steps away. Also a stop at 11th & Irving Streets NW, just a block or so away.
The closest Capital Bikeshare rack is at 14th & Harvard Streets NW.
Lime, Bird, Lyft, and Uber JUMP scooters (and bikes) are readily available on nearly every corner of the city wherever you can find one, rent them easily using their app and your smartphone
