The Neighborhood
The house is located in Georgetown, the oldest neighborhood in Washington, DC and it is bursting with historic character. The streets are all tree-lined and the houses have varying architectural styles that make walking though Georgetown a treat in itself. While the house is in a residential area, world class shopping, dining, and cultural institutions are mintues away.
Getting Around
Walking is best for site-seeing in Georgetown, but the best way to go further afield is to utilize a ride-sharing app or taxi since Georgetown itself does not have a METRO station.
The nearest METRO station is Foggy Bottom, which is around a 30 minute walk from the house.
The closest METRO bus stop is steps away at 35th St NW & Dent Pl NW, to take you to Foggy Bottom station or beyond around DC.
Lyme, Bird, JUMP, etc. scooters and bikes are readily available throughout the city and easily rented using your smartphone.
The closest Capital Bikeshare is at Reservoir Rd & 38th St NW
